TRY THEIR SHOES, IT MAY FIT!

Sometimes getting closer to people helps you appreciate who they really are because it’s only until then that you get to know the angel behind that repulsive person in your life.
Jumping into conclusions and stereotyping as well as judging one another just because of a few encounters does not make up for the full percentage of a person’s being.

Most often than not, we turn to rather behave negatively towards each other because of the negative perceptions or attitude we’ve seen or have experienced amongst ourselves.

Before we judge someone or jump into conclusion about people’s attitudes and their way of doing things, why don’t we first put ourselves in their shoes and guess the kind of actions or reactions we might take in case we found ourselves in such situations.

What if they actually viewed their actions and attitudes as the best solution to the situation they find themselves in?

Have you ever wondered why some people do what they do?
Have you ever been there for someone who you deem to be exhibiting negative attitudes?

Maybe they are even oblivious of their reactions and attitudes or perhaps, they are just not in the right company and are not getting anyone to be there to show them the “right” way. Maybe they lack love and affection or they simply don’t want to be hurt the second time?
We do not access all these neither do we ever put them into consideration. We always expect others to behave in a certain manner and if they don’t?.................... we get DISAPPOINTED!

Disappointments come every day but the question is, “how well are we able to get encouraged and enthused when the waves of disappointments come ashore?”

People are emotionally dead because they just don’t know who to turn to. They can’t differentiate between their lovers and haters. They are psychologically traumatized. However, they behave in a manner which tells that all is well.

Do we always have to wait for people to tell us their problems before we show interest in them? What if we actually asked them of their problems before they even told us? That’s caring! Caring has to be exhibited even before we become aware of a situation at hand.

That girl in your class never goes for lunch break. Have you ever asked her why? What about the boy who never talks to anyone yet is easily angered? Have you wondered why?
Not forgetting that boss in the office who does virtually nothing at work yet does not appreciate any finished work you’ve submitted to him? mmm......... interesting right?

Of course, we can’t understand every single being around us but it will go a long way to help a lot of people if one person in our lives is giving the attention he needs to become a better person.
Let’s try as much as possible to give everyone the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty.

Everyone has the opportunity to become a better person. Just make it available to them.
