CATS - ADORABLE CREATURES!

Ok so I had this hate or should I say fear for cats. I loved dogs because they are kinda cool. But I just didn’t like cats because they were always used for the bad roles in movies in this African setting. But trust me cats are pretty cool.

My love for cats grew when we moved to our new apartment which is way bigger than the old one. Then a neighbor had so many cats which made me a little bit uncomfortable especially whenever I had to go there on an errand.

I apparently freak out when I see cats. I simply disliked them until this same neighbor who happened to be my mum’s friend told us how cats are. She was able to convince my mum and tadaaa……! She brought us one of her cats-a female cat to be precise. I’d heard lots of stories about cats especially the female ones.

I heard they were scary and frightening to humans because of their kittens. So I never touched or ever got near this cat. Funny enough, this cat always loved to rest under the coffee table in my room. Always! the irony of it.

My brother named her Periwinkle because he felt she liked me but we eventually had to name her joy cux she brought some sort of Joy

to the family. Then we became besties, I mean Joy and I. Haha……..funny right. So she got pregnant by Only God Knows who male cat and she gave birth to four beautiful adorable kittens. I just loved them. Her first pregnancy and she gave birth to quadruplets? 

Amazing I thought. They were so beautiful and fluffy and almost every visitor wanted one including our neighbor! I cherished them with all my heart. First on my mind when I wake, last before bed time. They even sleep by me. We sleep together. They are just amazing. They never pup in the couch or the mattress neither do they pee in the room. They are gentle and calm. They understand humans trust me. They are just so hmmmmm………………….waow

But im sad cux Joy is dead and her kids are all gone except one. Her name is survivor. She is an exact reflection of Joy. She has Joy’s colour and character just that unlike Joy, who just took milk and soft fish Survivor eats everything including tea and bread. 

 I love cats!
