SILENT CRY
She lays awake and hopes for a new dawn,
To face her troubles once again.
She always hear them say,
That joy comes in the morning,
Yet she keeps on mourning.
Who would hear her woes?
Who understands her foes?
She was once like you
But now a victim of circumstance
She wonders lonely at the day
And hopes to get her daily bread
With no one and nowhere to go
She lives her hopes, her life, her all
But one thing keeps her going
The hope for a brighter dawn!
